Send a fax from Claude

Claude can write a letter and get a fax ready, but it cannot send one by itself. With the Fax Anything connector it prepares the fax and gives you a link to check it and send it. No account is needed.

Coming soon. The Fax Anything connector is not in Claude’s directory yet. The steps below show how it will work, and this page will change when it is available.

Step by step

  1. Connect Fax Anything

    In Claude, add the Fax Anything connector.

  2. Ask for the fax

    For example: “Fax this letter to Dr Lee’s office, (415) 555-0123.” Claude prepares the fax.

  3. Open the link

    Claude gives you a link to faxanything.com. Open it to add a document or photo if you need to.

  4. Check and send

    Add your name and email, check the preview, and send. You only pay if the fax is delivered.

  5. Come back to Claude

    Ask Claude for the status. It tells you whether the fax has been delivered.

What to know

  • Sending always happens on the Fax Anything website, so you see exactly what is being sent before it goes.
  • Photos and PDFs are added on that page. Claude can pass on text it has written for you.
  • Fax Anything sends to US and Canadian numbers only.
  • Fax Anything is an independent service. Claude is a product of Anthropic.

Do I need an account?

No. You give your name and email on the page Claude links to.

Does Claude send the fax?

No. Claude prepares it. You send it from the link, so nothing goes out without you.
