Refunds and failed faxes
You are only charged when a fax is delivered. Here is what happens to your payment when it is not.

A single fax paid by card
- When you press Pay and send, your card is asked to set aside $1.99. That is a hold, not a charge.
- If the fax is delivered, we take the payment.
- If it fails after our retries, is canceled, or runs out of time, we release the hold and nothing is taken. We do this as soon as the fax reaches that outcome.
How soon the hold disappears from your statement depends on your bank. Your bank may show it for a few days, and we cannot speed that up.
Packs and your free fax
A fax sent from a pack, or as your free first fax, uses one from your account when it is delivered. If it is not delivered, it goes back to your account and you can use it again. Packs never expire.
A fax was delivered, but something was wrong
We cannot call a delivered fax back, so please check the number and the preview before you send. If a delivered fax was wrong because of a fault on our side, for example the pages were cut off or it went to a different number than the one you gave, tell us as soon as you can at support@faxanything.com. We will look into it, and if the fault was ours we will resend it or refund it.
Anything else
Bought a pack by mistake, or think you were charged when you should not have been? Write to support@faxanything.com with the email address you used, and we will look into it. Your documents are deleted within 24 hours, so we cannot send you a copy later.
