How to send a fax to Canada
Faxing a Canadian number works the same way as faxing a US one. Canada and the United States share one numbering system and one country code, so there is nothing special to look up.
Step by step
- Get the full number. You need the area code and the seven-digit number, for example (416) 555-0123.
- Open faxanything.com. Enter the number in any format. You do not need to add a country code.
- Add your document. Choose a PDF or photo, or type a letter. Up to 25 pages.
- Confirm and send. Check the preview and send. The price is the same as for a US number.
Dialing a Canadian fax number yourself
- From the United States or Canada: dial 1, the area code, then the number.
- From other countries: dial your international access code (or +), then 1, the area code, then the number.
What works
- Toll-free numbers (800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 and 888) work too.
- Fax Anything sends to the US and Canada. Other countries are not available yet.
